The iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts a 48MP main sensor that captures incredible detail. By default, Apple saves these files as HEIC (High Efficiency Image Codec) to save space.
The Problem
While HEIC saves storage, it is a nightmare for Windows PC users and older smart TVs. You simply can't open the files.
The Solution
You can switch your camera settings to "Most Compatible" to shoot JPG, but this uses 2x the storage space.
Better Option: Keep shooting efficient HEIC to save space on your phone, and use our bulk converter when you move them to your computer.
